77 Total Days | 10 Books Explored | Start: Monday, Sep 15 | End: Sunday, Nov 30

Welcome to a guided journey through 10 books of the Bible in two and a half months. This challenge is designed to help you connect with God's Word in a personal and meaningful way. It's not about speed or perfection, but about creating space in your day to listen, reflect, and apply the timeless truths of scripture to your life. Use this simple S.H.A.P.E. method as a roadmap to find encouragement, direction, and a deeper relationship with God.  Download the PDF attachment below to access the bible reading plan.

Genre Breakdown - You will journey through a rich mix of literary styles, from historical narratives and wisdom literature to foundational epistles and a gospel book.

The Daily Rhythm - The plan is designed for consistency with a simple, repeatable daily structure.

  1. Read the main chapter for the day.
  2. Read the assigned Psalm for the day (could be at another time in the day)
  3. Reflect on the readings.

Journaling with the S.H.A.P.E. Method

This simple, five-step method provides a powerful framework for reflecting on your daily readings and connecting with the text on a deeper level.

S -- Scripture - Start by reading the selected passages for the day. Underline or highlight verses that particularly stand out to you, then write them down in your journal.

H -- Hear - Reflect on the verse(s) you've chosen. Ask yourself what God might be saying to you personally through this text. Use these three questions to guide your reflection:

  • What do I observe? What stands out to me about the characters, circumstances, or repeated words and themes?
  • What does this mean? What was the original meaning for the first readers, and what timeless truth does this reveal about God (you may wish to study more on anything you don't understand)?
  • What is God saying to me? What is God teaching me through this passage, and how does it speak to my current situation?

Journal your thoughts and any insights you receive as you work through these questions.

A -- Apply - Consider how this message applies to your life. Are there promises to believe, sins to avoid, examples to follow, or commands to obey? How will this reading change the way you think or act today?

P -- Pray - Write out a prayer that expresses what's on your heart. You can ask God for help and strength to live out the truth you've just read and to follow through on your commitments for the day.

E -- Exalt - Conclude by taking a moment to praise and thank God. This helps you gain the right perspective, strengthens your faith, and cultivates a heart of gratitude for who God is and what he has done.

Tips for Success

  • Slow Down: Take time to truly engage with each reading
  • Don't Sweat It: If you miss a day, simply continue where you left off
  • Find your rhythm: Whether morning, evening, or lunch break, establish a consistent time
  • Share the journey: Consider reading with a friend or family member for accountability
  • Pray before reading: Ask God to open your heart and mind to His Word
