Our GOAL is to raise $150,000 by the end of 2024.

Here's why...

More than 65 years ago, a group of visionary Christians dedicated their time and resources to establish a house of worship at 739 E 33 Avenue in Vancouver. Since then, the facility has undergone numerous additions and renovations, benefiting us and many others in the community. Our aim has always been to preserve and periodically refresh the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for people to experience God, strengthen their faith, and foster a community that shares the hope of Jesus throughout the neighborhood and city.

With this vision in mind, we are thrilled to share the first phase of our renovation plan, which includes the following goals:

  • to create a more open and inviting environment that enhances our connection with the neighbourhood.
  • to modernize and brighten the interior spaces, making them more functional and comfortable.
  • to better align our facilities with the church's current needs in delivering services and programs.

We encourage you to pray for the success of these renovations and think about how you can contribute to future ministry efforts. Let’s have faith and witness the amazing things God will accomplish!

1. A NEW FRONT ENTRANCE

  • Modern glass double doors with sidelights for a brighter and more inviting entryway.
  • A motorized door opener to ensure easy access for everyone.

2. LOBBY FLOORING UPGRADE

  • A modern vinyl surface that enhances functionality and durability.

3. NEW HEATING AND COOLING

  • Upgrading our over 60-year-old furnaces to new, energy-efficient models, along with a heat pump system for cooling during the hot summer months and reliable backup heating.
  • Electrical upgrades to support the new heat pump system

4. A NEW SOUND MIXER/CONSOLE

  •  Allen & Heath SQ7 Digital Mixer, Stage Box, Cabling, Training
  •  Enhanced capabilities for audio mixing and live streaming. Our current sound system is outdated, making it challenging to achieve decent sound quality for live streaming and in-house audio balance.

5. OTHER COSMETIC IMPROVEMENTS

  • Resurfacing the stage walls for a fresh, modern appearance while considering acoustics (details to be determined).

How To Support the Fundraising Campaign 
Together let us prayerfully consider how much we can contribute to this building campaign, setting personal targets that are both ambitious and sacrificial as we feel led by God.  

  • For those who can contribute now, please take a moment and donate to the Building Fund. Any amount helps!
  • We encourage you to plan for regular donations throughout the fall to help us reach our personal goals by the end of the year.
  • If you are unable to contribute financially at this time, please pray and trust that God will provide for both your needs and those of the church.
