Life Groups

Participating in a Life Group is great way to build relationships and get involved.  Here are few ways how:

1. Visit a life group - Simply find out when and where life groups meet, show up and get to know the group. (For a description of what a life groups and how to get connected go here)

2. Become a regular member – Regularly attend a life group and express your interest to the life group leader of getting more involved. When you are part of a life group the leader will work with you to identify areas of need and opportunities to serve according to your gifts and desire.  Examples could include musician, song leader, discussion facilitator, event planning, visitation, organizing service projects, etc.

3. Become a “mentor” to assist others their spiritual journey. (i.e. spiritual parent). Training for this important role is available periodically.  As a mentor you disciple a new believer towards spiritual maturity, guiding them in their journey of faith.

4. Host a life group – Open your home for regular life group gatherings. Or assume the role of offering hospitality in an alternate location.  If you would like to get more information on becoming a host, please talk to a pastor or your current life group leader.

5. Become a Life Group Leader – To become a life group leader, one must currently be a member of a life group and go through leadership training.  A leader will work with the group members to identify areas of need and opportunities to serve and to eventually multiply the group.

6. Become an Associate Leader – An associate leader is one who is being trained to be a life group leader and assists the leader in facilitating the life group.

If you are interesting in getting involved in a life group, talk to a life group leader or pastor.
