Care Cells

At Bethel, cell groups are a great way to connect with others and get involved. It’s where the “rubber meets the road” in terms of living out our faith in Jesus through authentic relationships.  It’s about where our faith meets real life and touches others around us.  It’s about being the Church and not just attending a church.    Stop by for a visit and maybe even consider joining a cell group.

Why Cell Groups?

Just as cells are the building block of the human body, we believe that small groups (or “cell” groups) are the building block of the church.  When the Church (in the Bible) first started, they met in homes and public places across the cities and towns in which they lived.  That’s quite a different dynamic than attending a “service” in a church building!  For many people church can become a religious activity or duty where there is little or no connection with God or people.  When Christianity is only expressed and experienced alone or in a large crowd, we miss the incredible value and importance of authentic relationships that God has intended for us to participate in.

What to expect at Cell group…

  • A relaxing environment with people who care
  • Times of sharing and praying for each other
  • Receiving and giving support and encouragement
  • Learning practical truths from God’s Word for your life

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42 NLT)
